Design a Futuristic Header Design in Photoshop

Start with a large black canvas, in your layers window make a new layer set. Name it Futuristic Header Design.
Choose your rounded rectangle tool and set the radius to 80 pixels. Create a new layer then draw a 867 x 84 pixels, #C40037 rounded rectangle. Use the fixed size setting under rounded rectangle options to make the exact rounded rectangle.


With your step one layer add the following layer styles:




Duplicate your layer one shape.
Create a new layer and draw a 837 x 18 pixels, black rounded rectangle.
Now choose Select above your screen then select Load selection. Leave the settings to default, this will add a marquee selection around your black rounded rectangle.
While the marquee selection is still active, in your layers window select your duplicated layer from step one and cut out the selection.

With your step three layer add the following layer styles:





Create a new layer and draw another 837 x 18 pixels, black rounded rectangle.
Add the following layer styles:




Choose your text tool and select font Eurostile from the font list. Set the size to 11 pt, bold, smooth and #DC6486 for color. In a new text layer type in your navigation links with spaces.
Add a gradient overlay layer style:


Create a new layer set, name it structure.
Choose your polygon tool and set the sides to 3. Create a new layer then draw a white polygon with a 40 pixels radius.


Cut the top half of your white polygon.

With your step eight layer add the following layer styles:






Choose your ellipse tool. Create a new layer then draw a 36 x 17 pixels, black ellipse. Use the fixed size setting under ellipse options to make the exact ellipse shape.


With your step ten layer add a gradient layer style:


Now duplicate your structure layer set in your layers window and position on the opposite end of the header.
