Start with a large black canvas, in your layers window make a new layer set. Name it Alien Mascot.
In a new layer draw a 108 x 108 pixels, #A8FF00 circle.
Add the following layer styles:

Now add eyes to the design. Create a new layer, draw a 20 x 20 pixels, black circle.
Set the layers blending mode to Soften light and dd a stroke layer style:

Add the same type of circle on the opposite end by duplicating the layer.

Create a new layer. Draw a 77 x 77 pixels, black circle.
Add a gradient overlay layer style:

Duplicate the circle from step four and position it as shown on the picture below.

Again duplicate the same style of circle and position them as shown on the picture below.

Make two more copies of the circle to complete the outer body of your alien.

Choose your polygon tool, under polygon options set the settings provided on the picture below.
In a new layer create a 30 pixels, black polygon on the center of your alien’s body.

With your step eight layer add the following layer styles:

Again with your polygon tool create a new layer then draw a 15 pixels, white polygon. Use the fixed size setting under ellipse options to make the exact ellipse shape.

With your step ten layer add a gradient layer style:

Now duplicate your layer from the last step, position this copy as shown on the picture below.

Add two more of your last layer shapes, this copies are rotated upside down. To rotate a shape, choose Edit above your screen then transform.
